Casualty’s Flynn Byron finally gets the answers he has been searching for this week, when soldier Rory Dickson admits he is being bullied by Colonel Bard!

After listening to his heartbreaking confession, Flynn resolves to get justice. But as a terrifying chain of events unfolds, will he be able to save Rory?

"There are some truly tragic scenes ahead, as Rory tells Flynn how Bard is making his life a living hell," begins our Casualty insider. "It’s the breakthrough that the clinical lead has desperately wanted, but the nightmare is far from over as Rory then goes missing…"

Rory arrives in hospital this week after being found drunk on a busy road. He later undergoes a mental health assessment and is discharged, to the horror of Flynn, who feels he is at risk of self-harm.

Flynn urges Rory to stick around, and it is then that the young soldier opens up about his ordeal in the Army, explaining that he would be handcuffed in the barracks among other cruel punishments.

Rory waits in the office while Flynn is called away to a patient. He manages to get him a bed in a recuperation facility, but returns to find Rory missing – along with a packet of drugs…

"Flynn’s worst fear has come true," explains our source. "As he searches for Rory on the streets, Stevie looks for the drugs and thankfully finds them accounted for. But Flynn’s relief turns to pure dread when he discovers that Rory has been hit by a car."

After hearing this shocking news over the phone, Flynn rushes back to the hospital and heads straight to resus to check on Rory. He’s in a very serious condition, but will the soldier survive his injuries?

Meanwhile in the ED this week, Jodie is reunited with grieving mother Laura, who is admitted to hospital. Laura has in a downward spiral, believing that her drinking is responsible for the premature birth then death of her baby.

Jodie and Rash try to convince Laura that this tragedy was caused by the toxic chemicals at the dangerous Wyvern Hill Estate, but it doesn’t work. As Jodie makes another discovery, will she continue her investigation into the site to get the answers she is searching for?

Casualty airs on Saturday nights on BBC One and now streams first on BBC iPlayer, where episodes are released at 6am on the day of transmission.
