Sunetra Sarker has shared a first look at her upcoming Casualty return as Zoe Hanna.

The actress and presenter shared several snaps back in her scrubs as part of an Instagram reel, which also included photos from a Loose Women live panel with Kaye Adams, Denise Welch and Nadia Sawalha.

"What a week that was – really needed my juice to keep me loose as I travelled from city to city," she wrote in the caption, while Lizzo's 'Juice' played in the background.

"Thank you to all my colleagues, friends and Liverpool supporters I had on side to keep me shining Sunday to Sunday!! I had a blast."

Sarker joined Casualty back in 2007, departing in 2016 as her character left to pursue a job opportunity in America.

She later reappeared for one episode in 2018 as Zoe reunited with her husband Max Walker, as part of actor Jamie Davis's exit storyline. Sarker and Davis reflected on their on-screen relationship earlier in the year, during a brief reunion on Loose Women.

Casualty airs on Saturdays on BBC One and streams on BBC iPlayer.
