Former Casualty stars Sunetra Sarker and Jamie Davis opened up about their on-screen relationship during a reunion on Loose Women.
The pair reflected on their time playing Dr Zoe Hanna and Max Walker on the medical soap, with Sunetra revealing she was thankful the pair could pull off their characters' "extreme" relationship.
"It was such a lovely storyline for the fans, but for us we'd never worked together and we had to create this quite extreme relationship of a consultant falling in love with a porter," Sunetra explained.
"The top of the tree and the bottom of the tree, you don’t mind me saying that."

"That was our homework, we were going to make this work without people going 'oh that would never happen'. That’s what we didn’t want people to say," the panelist continued. "We’re both really happy that we managed to pull this off. Without people feeling that this was obvious TV."
Jamie added: "You just want people to believe it and enjoy it as much as we did."
Jamie also touched on his upcoming TV project You & Me, which is being produced by A Very English Scandal's Dominic Treadwell-Collins and It's a Sin's Russell T Davies.
