The singer took to Instagram with a treat for fans, posting two shirtless images including a moody black-and-white shot.
The 21-year-old posted several shots of him against a snowy mountain background, so may have been feeling the cold in his pared-down outfits.
On Friday, Bieber became the first artist in 30 years to occupy the top two in the singles chart.
'Sorry' topped the league for another week, while 'Love Yourself' ranked just behind at number two.
The last person to simultaneously hold both positions was Madonna in 1985, with 'Into the Groove' (1) and 'Holiday' (2).
