A24 has released the trailer for new horror film Bring Her Back, the new project from Danny and Michael Philippou.
Starring Sally Hawkins (of Wonka, The Shape of Water and the first two Paddington films), this unnerving collection of footage doesn't give much of the film's plot away, but it's certainly creepy.
We see a series of increasingly disturbing images, starting with a child with a strange mark beneath their eye. The trailer then shows us someone convulsing atop some pebbles.

We also see Hawkins' character placing a bloodied hand on a glass pane and footage of a seemingly-possessed girl, before the trailer ends with a woman being approached in a prayer circle by a nude man who places his hand on her head.
The film's official logline gives us a little bit more of an idea of what to expect, as it coyly teases: "A brother and sister uncover a terrifying ritual at the secluded home of their new foster mother."
What to Read Next
Though we'll have to wait and see how the new movie is received, we here at Digital Spy really enjoyed Philippou brothers' previous film, 2023's Talk to Me.
In our review, we wrote that it was "meticulously crafted to scare the shit out of you, haunting you long after the credits have rolled".

We also shared: "It's a horror experience expertly designed to put you on edge. You'll almost be glad that the movie only runs just over 90 minutes long as it's such an intense experience.
"It might have familiar building blocks – possession plus horror as a grief metaphor – but it surprises in the darkest ways."
Bring Her Back is set for a summer 2025 release in US cinemas. A UK release window has not been confirmed yet.
