NWA biopic Straight Outta Compton was only been released earlier this month, but a sequel may already be planned.
Hip hop star Daz Dillinger has told TMZ that a follow-up movie will depict the rise of Snoop Dogg, Tupac and other West Coast rappers.
The film will apparently be called Dogg Pound 4 Life.
Ice Cube and Dr Dre will not be producing, although Ice Cube has reportedly given the project his stamp of approval.
Meanwhile, Dr Dre has issued a public apology to "the women [he's] hurt", amid renewed domestic abuse allegations dating back to the 1990s
It was previously announced that the alleged assault of Dee Barnes was included in an early script for Straight Outta Compton.
