Lucasfilm's Kathleen Kennedy has sent hearts soaring for Indiana Jones fans by confirming that a fifth movie will be made.
Rumours of a new adventure for the globe-trotting archaeologist played by Harrison Ford have been swirling since Disney bought the rights to future sequels in 2012.
Kennedy is now making it clear that a new Indiana Jones movie will "one day be made inside" Lucasfilm, but did caution that there will be a bit of a wait.
"When it will happen, I'm not quite sure," she told Vanity Fair. "We haven't started working on a script yet, but we are talking about it."
Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World star Chris Pratt was recently linked to a starring role in a rebooted Indiana Jones.
However, Pratt was less than committal when asked publicly about becoming the new Indiana Jones, saying: "It'd be cool. No-one's called me, you know, there's a lot of talk about it.

"The pressure would come just because it's a great franchise, you wouldn't wanna get it wrong. So, for me, it would have to be perfect to do it. We'll see."
Harrison Ford has also said in the past that he would like to play the charming adventurer at least one more time. 2008's Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull made more than $786 million.
Ford is currently teaming up with Lucasfilm to play Han Solo again in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, out this December. Watch a trailer below:
