The first images of Matthew Fox in Alex Cross have emerged.
The former Lost actor has transformed himself physically in order to play the role of Picasso, a cage fighter and assassin.
The film, which is adapted from a series of novels by James Patterson, follows detective Alex Cross (Tyler Perry) on a revenge mission after Picasso's murder of his wife.
Rob Cohen (The Fast and the Furious) directed the film from a script by Marc Moss and Kerry Williamson.
Moss previously worked on the script for 2001 Alex Cross adaptation Along Came a Spider, in which Morgan Freeman played the title role.
Fox was recently charged with DUI following an arrest in Oregon, and was accused of assaulting a bus driver last year.
