I Swear, the perfectly-rated drama starring Maxine Peake and Robert Aramayo, is now available to watch at home in the UK. Boasting powerful performances and an inspiring real-life story, this is one of the most acclaimed films of the year.
The drama tells the true story of John Davidson (Aramayo and Scott Ellis Watson), a native of Scotland's Galashiels who was diagnosed with Tourette's syndrome during his adolescence.
Featuring Peake as close friend Dottie Achenbach and Peter Mullan as boss Tommy Trotter, the film charts John's often turbulent journey through adulthood all the way to his inspirational activism.
After being released in cinemas in October, I Swear is now available to view at home if you missed it on the big screen. You can rent or buy I Swear from the likes of Prime Video and AppleTV, among other digital retailers.
Written and directed by Kirk Jones, the film has garnered acclaim since its premiere at the 50th Toronto International Film Festival in September, with Rotten Tomatoes currently reporting a perfect approval rating of 100% from 28 reviews.

In Digital Spy's review of I Swear, we called the film a "funny, moving and important watch" that amounted to it being "one of the best British movies of the year", with particular praise for Aramayo's "star-making" central performance.
"The focus on getting to know John personally means that when you get to the beautifully-judged and moving finale, as he gets to experience a library for the first time, there won't be a dry eye in the house," we added.
"I Swear happily adheres to the British cinematic tradition of small town underdog stories, without ever hijacking and streamlining Davidson’s experiences to maximise its 'feel-good' credentials," noted The Independent.

"Davidson’s essential likability shines through, thanks in part to Aramayo’s endearing, guileless performance and in part to writer-director Kirk Jones’ machine-tooled script," opined The Hollywood Reporter.
"Empathetic, funny and myth-busting, it gives you permission to laugh at the situation while feeling only compassion for the man," wrote Time Out, while The Guardian was also full of praise as they called the film "absorbing [and] compassionate".
I Swear is available to buy or rent now from Prime Video and AppleTV, among others.
