You might want to skip this Christmas, because Bad Santa 2 is 100% happening and it's set for release next year.
Billy Bob Thornton is returning as Willie Soke in the comedy, which is being backed by Miramax and Broad Green Pictures.
"We've been waiting far too long to see Billy Bob's Willie Soke mess with the holiday season in his own unique way," said Miramax's Zanne Devine.
There's no word on a director as yet, but the script was written by Entourage creator Doug Ellin alongside Shauna Cross, John Phillips and Johnny Rosenthal.
Bad Santa 2 will begin shooting early next year in Montreal.
Thornton, who starred in the Entourage movie and also recently appeared in Fargo's first season, claimed last year that the Bad Santa sequel is "never gonna beat the first one".
