Noah Centineo has landed the lead role in the upcoming Rambo prequel John Rambo.
According to Deadline, Centineo will be starring as a younger version of the iconic war veteran - originally played by Sylvester Stallone.
While plot details are scarce, the movie will reportedly tell the origin story of John Rambo and will take place during the Vietnam War.
Filming is scheduled to begin in Thailand next year, with Sisu's Jalmari Helander directing the project.
Audiences were first introduced to John Rambo in 1982's First Blood, which was adapted from David Morell's novel of the same name. The movie follows Rambo as he arrested by a cruel sheriff while travelling through a small town in Washington.
