Audiences have been treated to a first look at Sydney Sweeney in the upcoming biopic Christy.
The Anyone But You actor portrays US boxing champion Christy Martin in the film, dubbed as "the female Rocky" by the biopic producers.
Sweeney underwent a major body transformation for the role, following an intense training regime to reflect the musclier build of Martin. In a first look photo, the Euphoria star appears unrecognisable, ditching her signature blonde locks for Martin's cropped dark do.
Christy will see its World Premiere held at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), with the first look photo released as part of the announcement.
Sweeney is seen in the ring as Martin, whose career saw her hold the World Boxing Council's Super Welterweight Championship and get voted into the Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame.
