Wicked has landed a new streaming home in the UK.

Audiences were treated to the first of the two-part musical movie event late last year, with the action - based on the long-running hit Broadway musical of the same name - telling the origin story of the Wizard of Oz villain, the Wicked Witch of the West.

Wicked: Part One proved a critical and commercial success, earning Oscar nominations for leading stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, and has certainly built the anticipation for the second instalment, Wicked: For Good, which arrives in cinemas this November.

Whether you're keen to see what all the buzz is about or consider yourself an avid Wicked fan keen for a rewatch, UK viewers can now stream the first movie on Sky Cinema and NOW TV as part of an existing subscription.

No subscription? No problem, as Wicked is also available to rent or buy now from Prime Video, iTunes, Microsoft Store and other digital retailers in the UK.

In addition to Erivo and Grande, the first movie also stars Bridgerton and Jurassic World Rebirth's Jonathan Bailey as romantic interest Fiyero, with Michelle Yeoh appearing as Madame Morrible and Jeff Goldblum stepping into the shoes of the Wizard of Oz.

All cast members will return for Wicked: For Good, with the second movie bearing the name of arguably the biggest song from the second act of the musical: the Elphaba and Glinda duet 'For Good'.

With anticipation building for the second instalment, Grande previously spoke about the musical's title, sharing: "We had [For Good] printed on our original scripts, the hard copies that we were originally given.

"We were floating around different ideas but the scripts were printed with it since day one. I'm glad it's official now because we grew rather attached to it. It's just the perfect title because this project really has changed us for good."

Wicked: For Good is released in cinemas on 21 November.
