Mystery thriller Sharp Corner is now trending on UK streaming service NOW after being added recently.

The film, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival last year, has just been made available in the UK through Sky and its related service NOW, where it is currently sitting as the 5th most-watched movie.

Starring X-Men: The Last Stand's Ben Foster and the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Cobie Smulders, the film follows a man who lives near a corner where a lot of fatal car accidents take place.

As he starts to become obsessed with thoughts of death and the idea of saving people, his wife starts to worry for her and their child's safety.

On Rotten Tomatoes, Sharp Corner has a very strong critic score of 93% positive from 45 reviews.

Here's what some of them have said:

Mashable

"A smart premise is poignantly brought to life by Foster and Smulders, making for a psychological thriller that is nerve-rattlingly tense and a family drama that is unapologetically gutting... [It] will leave you wrecked."

RogerEbert.com

"This is a quiet classic. Every choice is just right."

Variety

"In the hands of Buxton and [writer/director Jason] Foster, Josh is a bleak study in contemporary masculinity. This is an increasingly nerve-wracking fable about the lengths men whose lives are placid if just merely pleasant will go to make themselves feel needed and validated."

The Guardian

"While some of Buxton's writing can be a little blunt and, in the initial stretch, some of the leaps a little rushed, we’re kept firmly in his grip."

Sharp Corner is available to stream now via Sky and NOW.
