Danny Boyle's post-apocalyptic horror classic 28 Days Later has found a new streaming home in the UK.
Ahead of the highly-anticipated new sequel, 28 Years Later, releasing this Friday (20 June), the 2002 infection flick is now on BBC iPlayer after airing on BBC One last night (15 June).
It is available on the platform for the next 29 days, as of today (16 June) – you can watch here.
If you want to catch up on the entire film series before the new movie arrives, the standalone sequel 28 Weeks Later (2007) is currently streaming on Netflix and Disney+ for subscribers in the UK and Ireland.
Written by Alex Garland (Ex Machina, Civil War), 28 Days Later follows Cillian Murphy's Jim – a bike courier who awakens from a coma to find out civilisation has been wiped out by a virus turning people into killing monsters.

It'll be followed by another sequel, The Bone Temple, which was shot back-to-back with 28 Years Later, and is directed by Candyman's Nia DaCosta. This is due to hit the big screen on 16 January, 2026.
Earlier this year, Danny Boyle confirmed Cillian Murphy's upcoming return to the 28... universe – but with a twist. He is expected to appear in The Bone Temple and the third movie in the new trilogy.
It had previously been reported that the actor wouldn't be reprising the role of Jim in the first new film of the franchise. The Peaky Blinders star is, however, serving as an executive producer.
28 Days Later is available to watch on BBC iPlayer in the UK. 28 Years Later releases in cinemas on 20 June.
