The Fantastic Four: First Steps star Vanessa Kirby has seemingly confirmed a big reveal that will impact the MCU's future.
Set for release this summer, the new Marvel movies stars Kirby alongside Pedro Pascal, Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Joseph Quinn as Sue Storm, Reed Richards, Ben Grimm and Johnny Storm respectively.
Set in the 1960s, a trailer for the movie revealed that Storm aka the Invisible Woman is expecting a child with Richards aka Mr. Fantastic.
With the arrival of their baby, it looks as though Franklin Richards, one of the most powerful characters in the comics, is about to be introduced to the MCU.
In the comics, Franklin has the power to create universes and restore reality, leading fans to speculate what his arrival in the MCU could mean.

Speaking to Empire, Kirby seemed to confirm that Franklin's debut will see him have the same powers as he does in the comics, saying: "It’s not just adults that have superpowers."
With his ability to warp time and reality, there has been some speculation that Franklin will be used to 'reset' the MCU after the sixth Avengers movie Avengers: Secret Wars.
Given that Secret Wars will likely end with the defeat of Doctor Doom, it's possible that Franklin could be the key to restoring reality, potentially fusing some timelines together and setting up a Marvel reboot along the way.

Previously speaking about The Fantastic Four, director Matt Shakman said the movie, which has faced a number of delays, will be well worth the wait.
"It's different in so many ways. I wish I could be specific. I wish I could say more. But we are doing things very differently from a story standpoint, from an approach to the filmmaking standpoint, that really fits the material," he said.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps will be released in cinemas on July 25, 2025.
