Florence Pugh's Sweden-set Midsommar is currently available on Prime Video in the UK, but you'll have to be quick if you wish to stream it.

Ari Aster's sinister folk horror will leave the streaming platform in just 10 days, so make sure to check out (or revisit) Pugh's performance before it's too late.

Released in 2019, the film from Hereditary's writer-director follows Dani (Pugh), a grieving woman in a relationship with Christian (Jack Reynor).

When Dani decides to tag along to Christian's holiday to Sweden, much to his annoyance, she will wake up to how terrible a boyfriend he is and to the bloody cultist rituals of the community they're visiting.

The film has received positive reviews upon release, becoming Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes with a critics' score of 83% — the highest-ranking Aster movie after Hereditary, which currently sits at a 90% on the aggregator.

What to Read Next

As for Midsommar, the relentless film won't let you divert your eyes from the screen, courtesy of the bright, overexposed cinematography that follows the horrors of the Hårga community in broad daylight.

"There's no cutting away from the disturbing in Midsommar (in fact, the camera prefers to push into the worst of it); you will look at this, and you will see the violence that is life and death, the movie says," Vox's review wrote at the time of release.

Aster followed up Midsommar with Beau Is Afraid, a lengthy investigation into the mind of the protagonist played by Joaquin Phoenix, a paranoid man trying to get home to attend his mother's funeral.

Releasing later this year, Aster's upcoming neo-Western Eddington reunites him with Phoenix. The actor is part of a star-studded cast also including Pedro Pascal, Emma Stone and Austin Butler.

Midsommar is available to stream on Prime Video in the UK.
