Matt Damon's trilogy of Jason Bourne spy thrillers are now available to stream for free in the UK.

The films The Bourne Identity (2002), The Bourne Supremacy (2004), and The Bourne Ultimatum (2007) have all been added to streaming service Tubi, which is entirely free to watch and no sign-up is required.

The Bourne Legacy (2012) is also available on Tubi, but that one features Jeremy Renner as the lead, rather than Damon. Damon did return for Jason Bourne (2016), but that one isn't on the service.

On the whole, Tubi has a lot of older content , including a wide-range of foreign-language and LGBTQ+ shows and films. It does have a few more recent films, including Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022), The Flash and Air (both 2023).

The Bourne films are notable for establishing a grittier, post-9/11 tone in American cinema, something adapted by everything from the James Bond franchise and even Christopher Nolan's Batman movies.

The original trilogy and Legacy were also notable for having Tony Gilroy on the writing team, who went to co-write Star Wars prequel Rogue One and create, write, and showrunner the recently-returned Andor.

A sixth film in the series was reported to be in the works in late 2023, with All Quiet on the Western Front director Edward Berger at the helm.

Not much has been heard about the project since, and just last month it was reported that Universal Pictures no longer has the rights to the franchise, with distributors such as Apple, Netflix, and Paramount all looking to snap the series up.

Looking ahead, Damon will appear in the Netflix film RIP with Ben Affleck, and in Nolan's stacked ancient Greek epic The Odyssey.

The Bourne trilogy and Legacy can be streamed on Tubi now.
