Slow Horses star Jack Lowden's new all-star movie Ella McCay has had its release date delayed by nearly three months.

The movie, which was originally slated for release on 19 September, 2025, has now been pushed back to a 12 December release (via Variety).

While the film is yet to confirm a UK release date, it's likely to be around the same time as the new US date.

Directed by James L. Brooks, Ella McCay stars Sex Education’s Emma Mackey as an idealistic young politician who tries to balance her difficult work life with her family issues, as she prepares to take on the role of state governor.

Joining Lowden and Mackey in the cast are Halloween star Jamie Lee Curtis, The Bear's Ayo Edebiri, Woody Harrelson, Kumail Nanjiani, Spike Fearn and Albert Brooks.
