Meghann Fahy might be best known for her role as Daphne in The White Lotus season two, but perhaps a pivot to the action genre is on the cards after new thriller Drop.

Directed by Christopher Landon, the movie sees Fahy play Violet who endures a nightmare first date with Henry (Brandon Sklenar) when an anonymous person threatens the life of her son if she doesn't kill Henry.

While the majority of Drop is confined to the restaurant, the thriller also gave Fahy her first experience of stunts – and it hasn't put her off one bit.

"I definitely want to do more. I loved it. It felt very exciting and powerful to be using my body in that way. I really loved the physicalisation of the telling of the story. So yeah, I'd be super down to do more of that," she told Digital Spy.

Sklenar then offered a potential new action role for his co-star: "Like a Joanna Wick... Joan Wick."

What to Read Next

Drop has the kind of high concept that is easy to imagine how you'd react if you were somehow in the same boat.

However, Fahy doesn't think she'd cope anywhere near as well as Violet does.

"Everybody would be dead. I'd be dead, [Brandon would] be dead. I don't know if I would have had the foresight. It's a crazy thing to consider," she noted.

"She's quite savvy actually in this film, Violet, which is one of the things I love so much about her. She really thinks on her feet which is amazing."

Sklenar added: "I mean, honestly, if it was between a person I just met and my child, I'd have to murder them."

Drop is released in cinemas on April 11.
