Emma Myers took a break from Nevermore Academy to travel to the Overworld in A Minecraft Movie, and she already has ideas on which video game adaptation she wants to see next.

The new movie sees Myers play Natalie, one of four misfits that find themselves in the Overworld after stepping through a mysterious portal. In order to get home, she must team up with expert crafter, Jack Black's Steve on an epic quest.

As a gamer herself, the star has already been open as a fan of The Legend of Zelda, so Digital Spy put it to Myers whether she'd be keen to star in the upcoming movie adaptation.

"I mean, whoever will have me in their video game movie," she responded, before offering other video games ripe for adaptations.

"The Last of Us show is really, really good so maybe if they did a Red Dead Redemption, that would be sick. Portal would be good. That'd be a really good animated series, or something like that," Myers suggested.

"Just put me anywhere, I'll be a background character in [Red Dead]. Like, it doesn't even matter. It would be really fun to voice the evil robot in Portal [GLaDOS], that'd be fun. Just putting it into the world."

Her Minecraft co-star Sebastian Hansen offered up a reunion in the speculative Portal show too, sharing, "I'll be the little guy in Portal 2 [Wheatley], and she'll be GLaDOS."

While we wait to see whether any of their ideas come to life, A Minecraft Movie lands in cinemas this Friday (April 4) and sees them star alongside A-listers including Black, Jason Momoa and Jennifer Coolidge.

Momoa was full of praise for his younger co-stars, especially given the fact they have to act almost like the 'grown-ups' in the movie.

"I think Emma had the hardest role as far as I'm concerned I think she killed it. We have a lot of great things in the movie that didn't make it, but she's been phenomenal," he told Digital Spy.

"Sebastian's great because he's that driving factor so finding the right kid to do it [was a challenge]."

Momoa also spoke to Digital Spy about how he "begged" to have Coolidge in the movie when he came on board as a producer.

A Minecraft Movie is released in cinemas on April 4.
