Chris Hemsworth has reacted to news of his surprise cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine.
The Furiosa star briefly appears as Thor in the upcoming action movie, with footage of his cameo having been teased recently at CinemaCon 2024.
Hemsworth did not return to film the cameo, with the footage instead edited and repurposed from a previous film.
"I didn't [know]. Am I in there? It's really cool," he said in an interview with ComicBook.

"You kind of forget, and be like, 'Oh, cool! I'm part of the team," he continues. "They're talking about me, and I'm not in [the movie]. But, I mean, that whole world is really cool to be part of.

"I think what makes it all look really cool is the interconnected nature of it."
The cameo shows Hemsworth's Thor crying over the body of Deadpool (played by Ryan Reynolds), in a scene not too dissimilar to the one in Thor: The Dark World with Loki (Tom Hiddleston).
It turns out the cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine was created using the same scene from Thor: The Dark World.
Thor is one of many famous heroes to crop up in the third Deadpool film, with the most recent trailer confirming some X-Men character returns.

Aaron Stanford reprises his role as Pyro alongside fellow mutant Colossus (voiced by Stefan Kapičić). X-Force characters Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Shatterstar and Yukio also make an appearance in Deadpool & Wolverine.
If that wasn't enough, it's highly expected that Jennifer Garner will return as Elektra in the third instalment, reprising her role from the infamous 2003 Daredevil movie and 2005 spin-off Elektra.
Earlier this month, Hugh Jackman also confirmed that his return as Wolverine will be slightly different to what viewers may be expecting in Deadpool & Wolverine.
"There are different sides of Wolverine we haven't seen before in the movies. It was exciting for me," he told Empire.
"It's great for Deadpool to have someone who will punch him in the face."
Deadpool and Deadpool 2 are streaming on Disney+. Deadpool & Wolverine opens in cinemas on July 26.
