Saltburn's production designer has revealed what Barry Keoghan is actually lapping up in the infamous bathwater slurping scene.
Emerald Fennell's movie sees protagonist Oliver Quick (Keoghan) fixating on Felix Catton, a wealthy student he befriends while studying at Oxford University, and developing an obsession with his family's estate.
In one of the film's most notorious scenes, Ollie enters Felix's bathtub moments after he's masturbated in it, slurping the remnants of the bathwater with gusto.

Suzie Davies, who created the gorgeous production design for the movie, explained the concoction was created with "yoghurt and a bit of milk and some water".
Speaking to Business Insider about Keoghan's approach to the scene, Davies said: "He did it four times and really went for it. Every one he did was a different kind of slurp."

The production designer also praised the Oscar-nominated actor for having "no inhibitions" on set.
"Often, when you film things like that, there are 20 people in the room. It's quite tense," she said.
"But the cast can bring something that's so extraordinary that you can hear a pin drop. So when Barry was doing his stuff, it was amazing. He had no inhibitions."
Davies also set out the level of detail that went into creating Felix and Oliver's shared bathroom at Saltburn – which involved completely redesigning a spare room at their filming location, the 127-room Drayton House.

To comply with weight restrictions in the room they filmed in, the team eventually made two fibreglass bathtubs, including one with a hole cut in the side to film Keoghan's pivotal scene, that were decorated to look like much heavier cast-iron baths.
As for Elordi, the Euphoria actor admitted being "excited" when first reading the sequence, which has since inspired a scented candle supposedly smelling like his character's bathwater.
"I was just really excited when I read that scene, because... you don't really see things like that in sort of mainstream movies... a lot of the time," he told Stream Wars.
"So it's just great that [Emerald] was allowed to kind of push those boundaries and expose people like that."
Saltburn is now available on Prime Video.
