After Xbox's conference yesterday (August 4) got gamescom underway, the show officially begins this morning as EA hosts its own show to launch the Germany-based expo.
But what will see? EA has been tight lipped as to what we'll get a glimpse of, though we can probably expect new looks at Star Wars Battlefront, Mirror's Edge Catalyst, FIFA 16 and much more.
Follow our ongoing coverage of gamescom 2015
You can keep track of the announcements with the live stream above, or via our blog updates below. The conference will start at 9am UK time (10am European, 4am ET, 1am PT).
10:02Thanks for joining us. That's it for the live conference blogs, but we'll have plenty more from the panels and the show floor throughout the week, so stay tuned for more information.
10:01Oh well, we were expecting a sum up and send off, but that's fine. Well, what did you think? Lacking major announcements and no new game reveals, but some good footage from the likes of Mirror's Edge, Battlefront and Unravel.

09:59Is that the end?
09:58You can win tickets, too. Here's the details:

09:58One lucky crowd member wins two tickets to see Real Madrid. Knew we should have gone to the conference!
09:56Everyday, more than 1.3 million matches are played with Real Madrid. I always keep it real and play as Boro myself.
09:55He's also going through the new stadiums, as well as new weather options and 900 new crowd chants!
09:54David Rutter is reeling off the new features, including female teams and players, new passing and moments of magic in the final third.
09:54Career mode stuff sounds good. The game mode was crying out for a little depth, and these new training options and drills should do that.

09:52It sounds like they're swearing when they call FIFA Ultimate Team "FUT".
09:51Carragher's worried about team chemistry, but Neville says you don't have to like each other to be a good team... I don't think he's ever played FIFA Ultimate Team!
09:50Nev and Car are picking their teams, and they're bickering about who to pick. "Take emotion out of it," Neville says, as he argues against including Gerrard.
09:49FIFA 16 next, and it's all about the banter. We've even got Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher giving each other stick on FUT.
09:48There are still lots more maps, characters and modes to be announced before the game launches, according to EA. We also get another new trailer and a look at Darth Vader. Can't wait!
09:47The battles will take place in the skies above the planets, and will feature AI-controlled fighters to make it even more frantic.
"Fighter Squadron, our brand-new multiplayer mode for up to 20 players, inspired by the thrilling aerial combat scenes from the films."
— EAStarWars (@EAStarWars) August 5, 2015
09:44EA unveils Fighter Squadron, a 20-player mode inspired by some of those famous aerial battles.
09:43And now back to Star Wars, only this time it's Battlefront.
09:42It's coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC, but still no sign of a release date, not even a hint.
09:41The gameplay is all physics-based, and how you tackle challenges is up to you. You'll have to use the yarn to build rope bridges, which can also be used to transport objects throughout the level.
09:38So Yarnie has to reach the end of levels without running out of yarn, but he can find more throughout the level.
"You proved that games really can move people and reach people's hearts." Martin Sahlin LIVE on stage right now with Unravel at #EAgamescom
— Electronic Arts (@EA) August 5, 2015
09:37Martin Sahlin is back with his little Unravel doll. We really want one of those little blighters.
09:36It all leads nicely into Unravel, which was one of our favourite games from E3.
09:35EA is giving us a peek behind the curtain of concepts in development that may or may not make it as a game.
#GAMEatGC - Introducing... Grass Effect. A cheeky Bioware team-up brings us this EPIC mash-up! Spring 2016. pic.twitter.com/9MNBQZJYxg
— GAME.co.uk (@GAMEdigital) August 5, 2015
09:32It's coming out next spring, and EA are giving us a little gameplay teaser to be getting on with.
09:32And now we're talking about a Mass Effect spoof called Grass Effect, which is actually a Z7 mech for Garden Warfare 2.
09:31It's all about the Backyard Battleground, which gives users a whole new way to play.
09:30After that little party moment, we're back to the games. Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 is up next, and it's getting a proper solo experience, which we think they've mentioned before, but not in this much detail.
09:28Too early to party, even in Germany!
09:27And now they've turned the press conference into a party, with lots of dancers, selfies and flashing lights.
09:25Right, EA announces The Sims 4 'Get Together', which will debut later this year.
09:24We're getting more Sims, but first a reminder of what has come before.
09:24Ah, it was for The Sims 4, and it sums up what the game is all about by all accounts.
09:23It's a live action trailer, but for what we're not quite sure...
09:22It's Star Wars: The Old Republic next. The Knights of the Fallen Empire expansion is a return to Bioware storytelling roots, apparently.
09:19It's all gone a bit shooty now, as Faith kicks her way past armed guards in a bid to escape. It looks like a lot of fun, can't wait to play it.
09:18"This isn't agricultural research," exclaims Faith. Nope!
"Be careful, Faith." #EAgamescom
— Electronic Arts (@EA) August 5, 2015
09:16Looks like a lot of fun, though. Faith is breaking into a building, but it's all starting to go a bit wrong.
09:15All that free running is impressive, but if you suffer from first-person motion sickness, this will turn your stomach, as Faith bundles her way over buildings and under small gaps.
09:13We're getting gameplay from an early mission, the moment that sparks the story and when everything changes.
09:13Faith is unique because she doesn't need any guns and is willing to take a stand when others won't. She starts the game as a daring, albeit reckless runner.
09:12Mirror's Edge is up next, and apparently it's all about giving players the freedom to explore.
09:12We're ending with a look at the "spectacular" new trailer. It's mainly live action, lots of talk about crews and the likes, but no big announcements.
Meet #NeedforSpeed's Icons: Magnus Walker, Ken Block, Nakai-san, Risky Devil and Morohoshi-san http://t.co/WbZKEs0Mef pic.twitter.com/uEojs0CbZG
— Need for Speed (@NeedforSpeed) August 5, 2015
09:09Now we're looking at some of the game's characters, which are represented live action style.
Looking forward to seeing @ea and @petermooreEA have to show this morning. #gamescom2015 pic.twitter.com/mrqIOW6BCc
— Phil Spencer (@XboxP3) August 5, 2015
09:08Now time for the trailer, and it looks like we're focusing on the game's crew. Not a lot of new stuff so far, just a bit about live action garages, and characters calling you into the five ways to play we keep hearing so much about.
09:06Apparently you can all chip in to help build a real life custom car, which EA will unveil in November.
09:05Right, sorry about that, we had to search out a different stream. Marcus Nilsson is out first to talk about Need for Speed.
09:02Looks like things are about to get underway in Cologne, as the attendees take their seats for the EA conference.
Tie Fighter and @geoffkeighley. Great start to the day @gamescom pic.twitter.com/rFQy2keZRw
— Peter Moore (@petermooreEA) August 5, 2015
08:49So, we're just over ten-minutes away from the start of the EA conference. What are you most looking forward to seeing more of?
