Despite axing Agent Carter, it seems that ABC is still developing new projects with Marvel.

The channel's new entertainment president Channing Dungey hinted that we could be seeing more from the comic book powerhouse on the network.

She told press that extensive conversations were being held with Marvel, and that a number of projects were in development (via The Hollywood Reporter).

Dungey also said that the two entertainment companies would look towards series that can benefit both brands, though gave little away in terms of specifics.

Alongside Agent Carter, Marvel's Most Wanted was not picked up for series by ABC, and Agents of SHIELD was pushed to a 10pm slot.

Carter was dropped after two seasons, though star Hayley Atwell is sticking with ABC for new drama Conviction, which has been given a big slot on ABC's schedule.
