Bates Motel is returning to US screens in March, and by the looks of the poster, Norman Bates is all set to continue on his murderous path.
Fans who watched the shock season three finale - as well as anyone who's a fan of the series's inspiration, Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho - will be well aware of the significance of Norman's choice of accessory in the season four promo poster.

The dramatic climax of season three saw Norman - played by Freddie Highmore - chase down and murder his lover Bradley Martin (Nicola Peltz), while acting as his mother Norma Bates (Vera Farmiga).
In the season four poster, Norman smirks as he holds what appear to be Norma's pearls - so that can't be good.
A&E has also released a teaser trailer pointing at the drama to come, including an allusion to the iconic shower scene in Psycho. An eerily slow and twisted take on The Supreme's 'Where Did Our Love Go' soundtracks the clip, for an altogether creepy experience.
