Vanished, a new mystery thriller starring Peaky Blinders' Sam Claflin and The Big Bang Theory's Kaley Cuoco, has been given a release date. The show will premiere on Sunday, 1 February on Prime Video in the US, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands and Latin America and follow a weekly release schedule.

Meanwhile, all four episodes will drop at once on MGM+ (available as a paid add-on through Prime Video) on Friday, 27 February in the UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

The official synopsis reads: "When a couple's trip to Paris takes a dark turn with the sudden disappearance of her boyfriend Tom (Claflin) aboard a train to the south of France, Alice (Cuoco) is plunged into a web of intrigue and danger, uncovering shocking secrets about the man she thought she knew."

Alongside our two leads, the cast includes Karin Viard (The Bélier Family), Matthias Schweighöfer (Oppenheimer, Army of the Dead), Simon Abkarian (Casino Royale) and Dar Zuzovsky (The Saints, The Survivor).

Some first look images have also been released, including one of Claflin and a tracksuit-wearing Cuoco looking bruised.

There's also one of them in happier times, with Cuoco's character Alice sharing a smooch on the beach with a shirtless Tom, played by Claflin.

The third and final new image sees Alice sitting at a station, with a concerned, almost-scared expression on her face.

Vanished was filmed in France, in and around Marseille and Paris. It was directed by Barnaby Thompson, who helmed the 2020 British comedy crime drama Pixie and co-directed the two St Trinian's films from the 2000s.

Claflin also has a few other projects in the pipeline, including the Ireland-set drama The Last Days Of Rabbit Hayes and Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan's new movie F.A.S.T.

Vanished will be released be released on MGM+ on 27 February in the UK.
