Mistletoe Murders, the cosy crime murder mystery from Hallmark, has landed a new streaming home in the UK. Set in an idyllic town, the Christmas crime drama follows a local shop owner named Emily Lane as she attempts to uncover the truth behind some local murders.

Consisting of six parts, season one of the festive mystery was released in 2024 and was followed by a second season this year.

Sure to delight fans of Hallmark Christmas movies, Mistletoe Murders was recently added to ITVX, meaning fans in the UK can now stream both seasons for free with ads.

The synopsis reads: "Christmas store owner Emily Lane's (Sarah Drew) sleuthing skills are put to the test as she investigates local murders. Despite Detective Sam Wilner's (Peter Mooney) growing affection for her, Emily's enigmatic past raises suspicions about her true motives."

Popular among viewers, the show has a 7.7 out of 10 rating on IMDb, with some fans saying they were "hooked" at the "nail-biting" plot.

"Now this is interesting! Only one episode in but I am already hooked," penned one viewer. "This definitely feels like a Hallmark Mystery win to me. Sarah Drew does a great job of being a sweet and charming small town girl with a secret, darker past."

Another said: "From the very first episode, we were hooked, and the excitement carried us through every twist and turn in the story."

One fan explained that they found the show "so enjoyable," adding: "I love mysteries and this one left a major cliffhanger at the end of season one so I hope the next season will be released soon! Only 6 episodes existing now but I'm hooked!"

Another person said of the series: "Mistletoe Murders is the perfect blend of holiday spirit and nail-biting suspense, with Sarah Drew proving once again why she's a force to be reckoned with."

One description called the programme "a perfect balance of holiday warmth, mischief and murder", with another hailing it as "an exceptional holiday mystery series".

But not everyone enjoyed the mystery, with one person writing: "A lot of things didn't make sense, and the story lacked coherence. It felt like they just tried to create a Christmas mystery, but the result was a shallow and cliché plot."

Mistletoe Murders is now streaming on ITVX.
