The Night Agent has just released a trailer for season 3 as Agent Peter Sutherland is back and involved in a dangerous White House conspiracy. Netflix's high-octane series starring Gabriel Basso is returning for one more instalment on 19 February 2026.
The new trailer sees Basso's protagonist Peter embarking on a new "heart-pounding" mission that will take him across Turkey, Mexico and the Dominican Republic, as well as Washington and New York in the US.
Based on the novel of the same name by Matthew Quirk, the series debuted in 2023, following an FBI agent roped into a hunt for a mole.
Described as a "solid binge" (via JoBlo's Movie Network), The Night Agent is returning for a new batch of episodes, with Peter expecting to have "a lot on his plate".
It's easy to see why as the trailer follows Peter as he rescues a man, played by Suraj Sharma, who's hunted down during a football match.

"Do exactly what I tell you to do, and we'll get out of here safely," Peter tells the man before they flee in a car with two thugs in hot pursuit.
The synopsis reads: "The night agent grapples with a dangerous conspiracy at the heart of the White House, a dogged reporter with a hot tip and a murky past, a murder suspect trying to clear his name, a mysterious father and son leaving a trail of bodies in their wake, old friends in danger, a collection of familiar and new foes, and a new partner who could be his salvation — or his doom."
The teaser also gives a peek at The Forsytes star Stephen Moyer, who was previously announced to join the cast of The Night Agent on its third instalment. Moyer's character asks Peter "Who are you?", to which the protagonist replies: "I'm a night agent".
Showrunner Shawn Ryan weighed in on the other stars joining season 3, Génesis Rodríguez and David Lyons.
"Amidst these new characters and challenges, Peter will reckon with hard truths and confront the impact of what being a night agent has personally cost him and how it has changed him, for better and for worse," Ryan explained (via Tudum).
The first-look images also show Amanda Warren reprising her role as Peter's handler Catherine Weaver, Fola Evans-Akingbola as Chelsea Arrington, and Albert Jones as Deputy FBI Director Aiden Mosley.
The Night Agent season 3 releases on Netflix on 19 February 2026. Seasons 1 and 2 are available on the same platform now.
