A gripping real-life crime drama starring Lily Gladstone has found a new streaming home in the UK.

Based on a true story, the 2024 limited series Under The Bridge will be available to stream on ITVX in the UK from 25 July. ITV's streaming platform will be the acclaimed thriller's sole free-to-air home this side of the pond.

All eight episodes will be available on the streaming platform on the same date, while the series will also air weekly episodes on ITV1 and STV.

Featuring Gladstone as police officer Cam Bentland and Riley Keough as author Rebecca Godfrey — whose book of the same name is the inspiration for the series — Under The Bridge chronicles the murder of teenager Reena Virk.

Fourteen-year-old Reena, portrayed by Vritika Gupta in the series, was beaten to death in Saanich, British Columbia in 1997, with her killing gaining significant media attention in Canada.

While Gladstone, Keough and Panjabi anchor the series with their performances, critics have also praised the young actors playing the accused girls.

"They give the show an unnerving, deeply gut-wrenching sense of volatility and violence, one which makes Under the Bridge almost impossible to look away from," The Daily Beast noted in its review.

The limited series is currently Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes with a critics' score of 86% out of 57 reviews.

Under The Bridge will start streaming on ITVX from 25 July. Episodes will air weekly on ITV1 and STV.
