Stranger Things star Jamie Campbell Bower has been cast in the upcoming season of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.
Bower starred on season 4 of the Netflix sci-fi show as villain Henry Creel aka Vecna. Now he's been announced as a series regular on season 3 of the Lord of the Rings prequel series in an undisclosed role.

Bower is joined by another Middle-earth newcomer in Eddie Marsan, whose recent roles include therapist Geoff in season 3 of Netflix's Heartstopper.
Details of Marsan's character are also being kept under wraps, but it's been shared that he will appear in a recurring role (via Variety).
Earlier this month, it was revealed that season 3 of Rings of Power will be set several years after the events of the record-smashing second instalment.

"The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power - Season 3: Jumping forward several years from the events of Season 2, Season 3 takes place at the height of the War of the Elves and Sauron, as the Dark Lord seeks to craft the One Ring that will give him the edge he needs to win the war and conquer all Middle-earth at last," the announcement post on Prime Video's Instagram read.
The cast for the new season is expected to include Robert Aramayo and Morfydd Clark, reprising their roles as Elrond and Galadriel, as well as Charlie Vickers as Sauron.
