When David Harbour and Millie Bobby Brown last shared a screen together it was an emotional, tear-filled extravaganza as Jim Hopper (Harbour), watched, horror stricken, while his surrogate daughter Eleven (Brown) sacrificed herself for the greater good.

Now, just shy of six months later, Netflix has announced that the two Stranger Things stars are set to reunite as father and daughter once more, this time in an upcoming spy thriller from A24, coming to Netflix.

Brown teased their plans to work together again ahead of this official reveal, when she shared on the Happy Sad Confused's podcast (via Variety): "Father-daughter is where we live, but Netflix will always be our home."

Brown gave praise to her on-screen father when she shared: "The David Harbour project is sooner than expected… And it's David's idea, so kudos to him."

Adolescence's Emmy-award winning writer Jack Thorne is at the helm of this new untitled project, serving as both writer and executive producer alongside Harbour and Brown who will also executive produce. Who is the team behind Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour's spy thriller?

As mentioned above, Adolescence writer Jack Thorne is the creator and executive producer of this upcoming thriller.

Alongside the Stephen Graham-fronted hit Netflix series, which became the second most popular English-language TV show in the streamer's history, Thorne's credits also include the recent adaptation of William Golding's classic novel, Lord of the Flies.

Brown and Harbour will also executive produce alongside Brown's husband Jake Bongiovi, and her father Robert Brown, who will both executive produce for PCMA Productions. Joe Hipps and Patrick McDonald will also serve as executive producers for Cut To, while KC Wenson will executive produce for Bravo Axolotl.

Speaking to Tudum of the spy drama, Netflix's head of scripted series for US and Canada, Jinny Howe, said: "We are delighted to bring this spy drama to life with an extraordinary group of talent we've been fortunate to collaborate with before.

"Jack Thorne's ability to find the deeply human story inside a thriller is unmatched, and watching Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour reunite — this time as estranged father and daughter on opposite sides of a crisis — is something audiences are going to love. A24 is the perfect partner to bring this story to our members around the world."
