Giovanni Ribisi will play the title role in the CBS pilot Sneaky Pete.

Penned by Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston and House MD creator David Shore, Sneaky Pete is based around a charming conman who assumes his prison cellmate's identity once out of jail.

'Sneaky Pete' (Ribisi) manages to fool his cellmate's family into bringing him aboard their bail bonds business, where he can catch criminals far worse than himself.

Ribisi has had recurring roles in Friends and My Name Is Earl, as well as the short-lived Fox comedy series Dads.

Homeland's Marin Ireland will play Pete's suspicious cousin and bail bonds partner Julia in the CBS pilot, according to Deadline.

Also joining Sneaky Pete is Parenthood's Libe Barer as Julia's troublesome sister Carly.

Justified's Margo Martindale was recently confirmed to be playing the matriarch of the bail bonds business.
