Nick Jandl has been cast in Nashville.
The actor is joining ABC's musical-drama in a recurring capacity as a physician named Caleb Rand, who gets "intimately involved" with two unconfirmed characters, reports TVLine.
Jandl has previously featured in episodes of Castle, Law & Order: LA, NCIS: Los Angeles and Hot in Cleveland.
He also played Jeremy in Hulu series The 4 to 9ers: The Day Crew and had a part in the 2011 film Green Lantern.
Laura Benanti, Derek Hough and Mykelti Williamson are among the actors who have appeared in the current third season of Nashville.
The show airs Wednesdays on ABC in the US. It will return on More4 in the UK next year.
