Desperate Housewives alum Tuc Watkins will play an important role in Major Crimes.
Watkins is slated to guest in the TNT series' season finale.
The actor will take up the role of a judge who is set to play a vital role in the case against serial rapist Phillip Stroh, TV Line reports.
Revolution's Billy Burke is expected to reprise his role as Stroh.
The show's season finale will play in a two-part installment set to air on January 12 and January 19.
Watkins's credits include Awkward, Parks and Recreation and One Life to Live.
Major Crimes will return to TNT with the remaining episode of season three on November 24.
