Adrian Lester has been tapped to star in Red Band Society.
Lester will appear in the recurring role of Dr Lawrence Naday, who is described as an unconventional neurologist, TVLine reports.
The actor will reportedly catch the attention of Octavia Spencer's Nurse Jackson.
Lester is best known for appearing in the BBC television series Hustle, but has also appeared in films such as The Day After Tomorrow and The Final Curtain.
Red Band Society airs on Fox, Wednesdays at 9/8c.
