The panel show that would make Pinocchio fairly flustered returns for an eighth series. Fiona Bruce, Claudia Winkleman, Steve Jones and Micky Flanagan join the regulars this evening, and will all have to tell (or pretend to tell) outrageously tall tales in an attempt to hoodwink the other team.

The eventful series will finally come to a close tonight, with Emma Willis on hand to crown the celebrity winner. Expect snap interviews, countless boos, and runners-up who will try (and probably fail) not to look too gutted.

Jack Whitehall, Piers Morgan, Jon Richardson and Matt Forde are on the sofa in this first episode. Kasabian will also be popping by to play their new single 'Bumblebee', and watching Alan and Piers attempt to resolve their previous ding-dong battle is surely more than enough reason to tune in.
