Suburgatory's Sisto will star as a psychiatrist tasked with helping the citizens cope with the supernatural event, while TV Line reports that Alejandro is portraying the town's sheriff Tommy Moran.

Alejandro most recently portrayed the sinister DC Comics character Sebastian Blood in The CW's Arrow, and has also had recurring roles in True Blood and Southland.

Once Upon a Time in Wonderland's Sophie Lowe will star in The Returned as a young woman who is emotionally shattered when she comes face-to-face with her long-dead sister (India Ennenga).

Also in the cast is Supernatural's Mark Pellegrino, who will play the siblings' father Jack.

This 10-episode adaptation of Les Revenants is being produced by Lost's Carlton Cuse.
