Skins star Sebastian de Souza has been cast in drama pilot Recovery Road.
ABC Family's adaptation of Blake Nelson's novel centres around a teenage girl trying to deal with an addiction.
Samantha Logan will star as party-loving high school student Maddie Graham, who spends her nights at a rehab facility.
De Souza, who played Matty Levan in Skins, will play Wes Stewart - another rehab patient. Maddie will immediately be attracted to him and his bad-boy type.
Written by Bert V Royal and Karen DiConcetto, the show will also star Mixology's Alexis Carra as Cynthia McDermott, the school guidance's counsellor. After discovering Maddie's problems, she sends her to rehab, resulting in a strained relationship.
De Souza will next be seen in Kids in Love alongside Cara Delevingne and Will Poulter. The actor also co-wrote the indie film.
