Top Gear: BBC Two, 8pm


Tonight's episode sees Jeremy Clarkson head to Italy to get behind the wheel of an exclusive hand-crafted sports car, Richard Hammond tests out a six-wheel drive on Abu Dhabi's sand dunes, and James May defies his status as Captain Slow on the test track.

It's also Jack Whitehall's turn to set a lap time in the Reasonably Priced Car, and with the comedian admitting on his Twitter page earlier this week that he can't actually drive, expect some hilarious mishaps on his part.

Mr Selfridge: ITV, 9pm


It's all kicking off in tonight's episode of the period drama. With German goods being taken of the store's shelves, Harry organises a patriotic concert to raise money for British troops, with Lady Mae calling in an old friend to headline the event.

However, following Mr Selfridge's offer to help the government, he is forced to leave London on a secret mission to Berlin just as the gig is about to start. Tonight will also see an increasingly paranoid Thackeray take action against Henri, and Agnes and Victor going over old territory. Guest starring Alfie Boe.

The Musketeers: BBC One, 9pm


We're now halfway through the first series of the swashbuckling drama, and things are heating up. Porthos wakes up in the street to find a dead body beside him, and is promptly sentenced to death.

However, a mysterious gang of criminals abduct him and carry him to the streets of his childhood, the slums of Paris, leaving it up to the other Musketeers to save their friend and prove his innocence.

The Only Way Is Essex: ITV2, 10pm


The new season of TOWIE returns, and a lot has happened since the gang last went off air. Billie is pregnant, Dan has become a father, Sam was recently diagnosed with Crohn's disease following her stint in Celebrity Big Brother, while Gemma got engaged (and then promptly called it off), and made a Splash! on primetime television.

With each episode filmed just a few days before transmission, who knows what tonight's premiere has in store? One thing's for sure - expect tears, tantrums, break-ups and make-ups as the regular cast are joined by a few new faces.
