The unexpected really does hit you between the eyes on tonight's series finale of the TV blub-a-thon, as Cilla Black is back, granting the wish of a woman who appeared on the show's original run back in 1999. Meanwhile, Rod Stewart performs live for a fan who's earned thousands for children's charities.
The X Factor: ITV, 8pm
It's the results show and the remaining five acts are about to be whittled down after last night's show where, for the first time this series, they were required to perform two songs instead of one. If that excitement wasn't enough, there'll also be live performances from Rebecca Ferguson and last year's winner James Arthur.
Homeland: Channel 4, 9pm
In tonight's episode we finally see Carrie reunited with Brody, but it's not quite what they'd hoped for. At the same time, we see Dana struggling with life away from home and Saul gets some good news from the unlikeliest of places.
