Legacies has a big Mikaelson family reunion in store for fans, as The Originals' Charles Michael Davis has confirmed.
The actor, who played Marcel Gerard on The Originals, is about to make his Legacies debut in an episode titled 'Everything That Can Be Lost May Also Be Found' to air later today (April 14) in the US.

The Originals spin-off focuses on returning character Hope Mikaelson (Danielle Rose Russell), a gifted teenager descending from powerful vampire, werewolf, and witch bloodlines.

Davis's upcoming stint on Legacies means that Marcel is one of the few characters who have appeared on The Vampire Diaries (in the 2013 backdoor pilot for The Originals, titled... 'The Originals') as well as its spin-offs.
However, Marcel won't be the only special guest as more familiar faces will be back to help Hope.
Nathaniel Buzolic – also debuting on Legacies – will reprise the role of Kol Mikaelson from TVD and The Originals, while returning guest stars Claire Holt as Rebekah Mikaelson and Riley Voelkel as Freya Mikaelson will also make an appearance.
"It did feel like we were home," Davis told TVLine about shooting the reunion, filmed in Conyers in Georgia, already serving as The Originals' New Orleans.
Davis particularly enjoyed a scene where they are "sitting at the table, reminiscing and laughing about things".
"Especially now with the restrictions of COVID and all that, to be sitting and chatting and seeing people's faces was a good little bubble to be in for a few hours," he added.

Legacies has recently introduced a new character played by Australian actor Luke Mitchell.
Already seen in Agents of SHIELD, Neighbours and NBC's Blindspot, Mitchell portrays a malevolent god named Ken whose aim is to take down Hope.
Legacies airs on The CW in the US.
