After a tense recoupling in tonight's (July 14) episode of Love Island, Theo was left packing his bags for home after not being picked by any of the girls.

It's true to say that Theo definitely got on some people's nerves with his antics in the villa, but he says that he was just being himself – and reckons this actually got people to ultimately respect him.

"I was brutally honest from the beginning. I always say what's on my mind. At first they didn't really get me but after a week of getting to know me, they liked me and respected me more for it," he explained.

"I didn't go in and try to please everybody. In the end they saw me for me and I think everyone respected me for that so we all got on towards the end."

And now that he is out of the picture and thinking about which couples he wants to win the whole show, there are two pairs on his mind.

"After taking Jamie under my wing, I think him and Camilla have the potential to win because they are the most genuine people you'll meet.

"Same goes with Marcel and Gabby, they are up there as well. I'm going to say they are going to be the top two couples."
