We've only got a week of Pride month left, and BBC Three has just served up a delicious, if bittersweet treat. The second season of queer dating series I Kissed a Girl has just landed, with the first two episodes airing tonight.

The new chapter sees Dannii Minogue return as host, with 10 single women ready to find their match in the stunning Italian villa. And if you just can't get enough of the action, episodes three and four are also available to stream on BBC iPlayer right now!

The season got off to an explosive start as the contestants were put into pairs upon arrival and shared an immediate kiss, before having to go their separate ways and rate the smooch for Dannii.

Dannii then lined-up the pairs based on how they rated the chemistry in their first kiss, with Elise and Faye ranking highest. But it wasn't smooth sailing for the pair, as Elise also seemed to have her eyes set on Elisha.

The second episode immediately launched with some intrigue as, in the middle of the night, Ebony appeared to have found her true match with Imogen, leaving Tyra and Ashlea in the cold.

The ladies' attention, however, soon turned to the villa's three new bombshell-style arrivals — Almayra, Kayleigh, and Blessing. This certainly threw up a surprise, but many fans were happy to have the series back even if it will be the last season.

"Time for I Kissed a Girl for all the sapphic drama (bit bittersweet that this is the last season )" wrote one viewer, while another added: "Still can’t believe this is the last ever series of I Kissed a Girl… come on BBC."

Several viewers were calling for the BBC to reverse the cancellation of the series, pointing out that it provides much-needed representation in the Love Island era. On X, one viewer said it should be done "in honour" of Pride month.

The BBC announced in March that the current season would be the show's last, with a BBC spokesman saying that there were no "current plans" for it to return despite how "exceptionally proud" of it they were.

I Kissed a Girl airs on BBC Three and is streaming on BBC iPlayer.
