Spoilers for the final of Race Across The World 2026 follow.
Race Across The World has crowned its winners for the 2026 civilian series, and viewers are elated. The climax of the BBC smash saw fan favourites Jo and Kush reaching the finish line in Hatgal, Mongolia in first place, pipping father and daughter duo Andrew and Molly to the post, who finished three hours behind.
Siblings Katie and Harrison came third, while in-laws Mark and Margo came fourth, overjoyed to have reached the finish line at all after their finances nearly ran out altogether.

Fans were ecstatic and emotional at the result, with one posting on X: "Anddddddd I’m sobbing... well done the boys!"
"So happy the young lads won race across the world... proper good boys," said another, while someone else wrote simply: "Crying #RaceAcrossTheWorld".

"So pleased for the winners!! But I would have been happy with any of the teams winning tbh," another viewer posted.
Yet another said: "What an incredible race and absolutely deserving winners in Jo & Kush. Couldn't go to 2 nicer lads."
Jo and Kush appeared to have come unstuck early on in the leg thanks to some non-existent trains, while Andrew and Molly overtook them thanks to a slightly different route and a more direct car option.
However, they soon realised they had mistakenly been taken to the wrong place, setting them back significantly. Molly was left in tears, fearing it had cost them their chances of winning.
As the other two pairs - siblings Katie and Harrison and in-laws Mark and Margo - gained ground very quickly despite their one-day disadvantage, it seemed like the final was turning out to be much more of a four-horse race than it first seemed.
"This is nail biting stuff. I can hardly watch #RaceAcrossTheWorld," one of many tense X posts read.
There were plenty of emotional moments along the way, with Mark and Margo in particular reflecting on how their relationship has changed, and what the late Julia - Mark's wife and Margo's sister - would make of their incredible adventure.
Race Across the World is streaming on BBC iPlayer.
