With the big finale fast approaching, the whole country seems to be swept up in The Traitors fever as season four's twists and turns keep coming.

But if you thought being married to the show's host Claudia Winkleman might give you any special Traitors privileges, you'd be wrong. The presenter's husband Kris Thykier has revealed he's just as clued-in as the rest of us.

Speaking at the London gala screening of his new movie Is This Thing On? on Monday, film producer Kris told The Standard: "She won’t tell me anything so we have to watch it live. So, we’re all watching it with bated breath."

Last week's episodes ended on a major cliffhanger as Traitors Stephen and Rachel were left deciding who they would give the dagger to, with the recipient getting two votes at the next roundtable.

The episode also saw the murder of fan-favourite Jessie and the banishment of Ellie, leaving Jack, Roxy, Faraaz, Matthew, James, and Jade as the remaining Faithfuls.

Meanwhile, Claudia won't be out of work for too long once The Traitors comes to an end. Following her departure from Strictly Come Dancing, Claudia has been given her very own BBC chat show.

Aptly titled The Claudia Winkleman Show, it is set to air seven 50-minute episodes on BBC One and on iPlayer in the spring.

Speaking about her latest gig, Claudia said: "I can't quite believe it and I'm incredibly grateful to the BBC for this amazing opportunity,"

"I'm obviously going to be awful, that goes without saying, but I'm over the moon they're letting me try."

The Traitors airs on BBC One and streams on BBC iPlayer.
