The Traitors star James Baker has revealed the subtle way he has paid tribute to a loved one "who was taken from us far, far too soon" while appearing on the show.

A gardener from Dorset, James is currently on season 4 of the BBC reality show hosted by Claudia Winkleman. As a Faithful, James is still trying to uncover the identity of the two remaining Traitors, Rachel Duffy and Stephen Libby.

Taking to Instagram, James explained he wore a nod to a late friend during a recent Traitors' round table.

The Faithful posted a snap of himself at the table as he wears a flannel shirt and a T-shirt with two guitars on it that was given to him by his friend.

"For those of you who know me and my family... This T-shirt was given to me by a truly incredible human being, who was taken from us far, far too soon," James wrote.

"As truly heartbreaking as it is that she never got to share this bonkers adventure which she'd have bloody loved, I was glad to carry a little piece of her along with me for the ride."

Fans threw their support behind James, reacting with red heart emojis to the bittersweet tribute.

As we're only a few days away from the finale, James remains in the game alongside fellow Faithfuls Faraaz, Jack, Jade, Roxy and Matthew. Matthew's offer to be seduced by the Traitors didn't materialise as he stayed a Faithful.
