Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman recently broke the hearts of many Strictly Come Dancing fans when they announced this series of the show would be their last. The duo have decided to step down from their hosting duties and passing the reins to someone else.
With just two weeks left to until the final, and therefore their last live show, sister show It Takes Two paid tribute to them with a special episode jam-packed with throwback clips.
Tess was treated to a montage of her hosting the show alongside Sir Bruce Forsyth. The pair were the original hosts when it began back in 2004.
Claudia also got a montage of her own alongside late judge Len Goodman. The Traitors host originally presented It Takes Two, and often got dance lessons with Len as he took her through different techniques and routines.
Reflecting on the show, one fan wrote on X: "That was wonderful soo happy they looked back on soo much of Bruce and len years 🥹🥹🥹 #strictly #ittakestwo"
"Already emotional at this special show for Tess and Claudia, end of an era 😢 #ItTakesTwo #Strictly," another said. "It Takes Two is making my eyes leak already," said a third.

"Aww Bruce, Why am I sobbing," said another.
They also answered fan questions about their time on the show, including who they thought was the best dancer who never won the show.
Tess opted for Big Brother presenter AJ Odudu who had to pull out of the final just days before in 2021 when she tore a ligament in her ankle. "Who knows what she could have done," Tess said.
Claudia added: "Mention for Ed Balls, we've never seen anything like it."
Following the live finale, Tess and Claudia will have one final show, the Strictly Christmas special, which is pre-recorded.
Despite it being the hottest show on TV with many names being thrown around about who will take over, no decision has been made yet.
Kate Phillips, Chief Content Officer at the BBC, recently confirmed the selection process for their successors hasn't begun.
"We haven't got time at the moment to start doing any screen tests or chemistry testing," she told The Rest is Entertainment. "I don't think we'll really be looking at it until the New Year because we want to make sure we deliver a great Strictly series. Having said that, yes – my inbox has been inundated."
Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
