Strictly Come Dancing pair Lewis Cope and Katya Jones had a great weekend following their performance of the Jive.
The couple earned a respectable 27 points for their routine, but while the judges' comments were positive, head judge Shirley Ballas was more critical. She said: "I get your power, I love everything about your power, I think you're destined for greatness in this competition but for me, I don't see the crash, bang, wallop that everybody else sees."
Appearing on It Takes Two, host Janette Manrara pointed out they looked "disheartened" following the comments when they returned to the Clauditorium.
Pro Katya said she wanted to defend the routine, saying: "I've been thinking about this a lot. There's two sides to it.
"On one side, as a pro, I'd would really have loved for the judges to vocalise their appreciation for what you did do, for all the steps you spent hours and hours learning.
"They were there, every single Viennese Waltz step, including the freckle that he did on his own, all the pivots, all of it."

"On the other side, dancing is an art form, it's an expression," she added.
"We put on this number together the way we felt was right for us. In any art, there are opinions from people that don't connect with it, that like it or don't like it. We are here to create what feels right and share it.
"We let the judges have their say, we are still learning, it's week two."
Responding to Janette saying the routine was "jam-packed", Katya said: "We never compromised on dancing, and I feel that's really important."
Moving on to this weekend, Lewis will be taking on a Paso Doble to a song from Zorro for Movie Week.
Sharing how he's found his first day of the new dance, Lewis said: "It's been a bit of a day to be honest. This morning was hard work.
"I wasn't really picking up the style, the shapes, or the technique of it. But I think toward the end of the day we had a nice 30 minutes of it."
Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
