Strictly Come Dancing's Tasha Ghouri has made a surprise comeback to the series after landing a "special" new part, with the star saying that she was "buzzed" to announce her "dream" role.

The reality star, who shot to fame after winning the eighth season of Love Island, took part in the BBC series last year, eventually reaching the grand final as she was partnered by Aljaž Škorjanec.

A year on from her sparkling stint on the dance floor, Tasha confirmed via Instagram that she would be returning to series after being unveiled as the "roving reporter" for spin-off It Takes Two.

"Ahhh to be back was super special!! Sooo buzzed to announce I’m officially joining the It Takes Two family!! 🪩" wrote the star in the caption to the post, which included two photos of her enjoying time in the studio.

"I’ll be bringing you all the backstage scoop as the roving reporter. Being back in the Strictly sparkle feels like pure magic. Beyond grateful to the team for this dream opportunity🥹@bbcstrictly"
